The front yard is grass and thick tall ferns. Hardwood trees surround the camp. Lookout for deer, turkey, and signs of bear on the property. The camp is over a mile off the main road on back dusty lanes shared by other camps. Use the mountain pie makers, camp chairs, and large porch.

All of our cabins have bathrooms. Two nights minimum is required except on holidays which is 3 nights. TV with a DVD player in each cabin. Dish Network & WiFi are available but not guaranteed due to frequent outages in the area.

Groundhog Day is hosted by the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club each year on February 2, at the grounds that is known as Gobbler’s Knob. Visitors and Locals can visit Gobber’s Knob throughout the year now, with a new Visitors’ Center and Gift Shop on the grounds. When visiting, you will experience educational interactive activities; a theater to watch cuts of Groundhog Day in years past; get a picture of the hand-painted mural by a local artist; enjoy the memorabilia of Groundhog Day and the Groundhog Club; and shop for some great souvenirs. Make sure you ask all those questions that you have about how Groundhog Day started or how you can join in on the fun of Groundhog Day while visiting.
While at Gobbler’s Knob, you can enjoy a walk on our trail or visit the stage where the Groundhog Day festivities take place. Don’t forget to view the bricks that people have purchased from our brick program, that are placed on the Gobbler’s Knob stage and peek into the famous Phil’s stump.

Constructed by Joseph E. Hall in 1848, Hall House is the oldest building in Jefferson County and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The distinctive Greek Revival architecture is similar to the White House with 4 Ionic Columns carved from giant native trees. For many years the building served as Brookville’s Public Library. It has recently been lovingly restored and updated with new heating and air conditioning, luxury bedding, antique furnishing,s andultra-modernn bathrooms.
