Brockway Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration
Event description
The Brockway Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Committee maintains its original mission to coordinate a traditional Celebration that emphasizes wholesome family fun while actively instilling patriotism, history, education and cultural well-being.
To date, the Brockway Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration remains the largest non-carnival, family oriented event of its kind in all of Western Pennsylvania. Our Celebration combines a collaborative medley of events including a patriotic program, art and quilt display, Miss Brockway Fourth of July pageant, car show, craft exhibition, a variety of educational family entertainment, class act musical performances, children’s games, fishing contest, sporting competitions, concessions by local non-profit fundraising organizations, a grand parade, and spectacular fireworks.
The existence of the Brockway Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Committee and Celebration primarily remains active due to the devotion of time, talent and dedication of its volunteers who are an integral part in the success of this Celebration. In addition, an enormous amount of recognition goes to the generous community and corporate donations that allow the Committee to keep this week-long Celebration completely free of charge to the public.
The Brockway Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration brings together our surrounding communities, our businesses, our families, our friends, and our visitors to celebrate not only our patriotism but also what so many have worked so hard to build – which is a Community that is truly a great place to work, raise a family and live.
