Free Intro Clogging Workshop and 14 Week Beginner Class
Event description
We are only two weeks away from our next LEARN TO CLOG – Free Intro Beginner Clogging Class. Clogging isn’t just fun. It’s confidence training in disguise. Every step builds strength, every pattern sharpens focus, and every song resets your mood.
Check out this fun, percussive Appalachian dance form and pick up some new moves, connect with the clogging community and celebrate the joy and fitness benefits of clogging at a FREE one-hour Intro to clogging workshop hosted by the Wild Laurel Cloggers! Clogging is for everyone – no dance experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome. This event is open to the public, and you don’t need to register in advance. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in and sneakers or shoes with a relatively flat, non-grip sole, or tap shoes if you have them, and bring a bottle of water. We’ll dance to bluegrass, pop, rock, country, and more.
The one-hour workshop will teach you the basic beginner steps of clogging, but dancers who wish to learn more are welcome to continue with the 14-week beginner class, which will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday evening from January 12, 2026, to April 13, 2026. The free workshop is the first class, and you’re welcome to attend this first-night intro and decide afterward if you’d like to keep dancing with us. Many or our cloggers come simply for the exercise there is no obligation or requirements to perform outside of class. If you are up for a challenge stay for the intermediate clogging class which runs from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. every Monday evening. The fee for the 14-week session is $50/dancer. The workshop and all future beginner and intermediate clogging classes will be held at the Heritage House, 4 Sylvania Street, Brookville, PA 15825. We look forward to dancing with you!
