Punxsutawney Historical & Genealogical Society

Genealogy workers convene weekly to aid those exploring family history. Volunteers are sought for tasks like phone support, email assistance, copying, scanning obituaries, and research. The organization hosts special events like Christmas open houses and downtown tours, inviting the public to engage in Punxsutawney history. Attend or volunteer for these events. Programs and classes, such as the ongoing “Early Settlers” series, focus on historical eras. Join to help with crafts or transportation logistics, bringing in children as well. Explore the GENEALOGY page for more information.
