Jackson Run Bed & Breakfast – the house is an 1880s farmhouse, which was family owned. The Bed & Breakfast opened in 1998, after a two-year renovation. The house is located in a country setting, complete with an old-fashioned barn, apple orchards, and a small grape vineyard. With three guestrooms, featuring private baths, you will find the accommodations very comfortable. In 2007, Jackson Run expanded with the addition of a newly constructed Cottage, perfect for families or extended-stay guests.

Jefferson County Historical Society (JCHS) is a non-profit organization, established in 1967 and incorporated in 1971 as a 501(c)3 charitable organization. The Jefferson County Commissioners and PHMC have designated JCHS as the official historical society for the county. In 2001, JCHS began the preservation of the Nathan Greene Edelblute Building and adapted it as the Jefferson County History Center, opening the building on March 26, 2004, the 200th anniversary of the county’s founding.

This A frame cabin is situated on two wooded acres on a long dirt/gravel road less than ten minutes from Clear Creek State Park, ANF, and Clarion River. Cook Forest is 20 min drive. Please use the porches, fire pit, hammock, camp chairs, hot dog sticks, & board games. There are two bedrooms, one is a loft. Deer come up to the back porch area often. You may see turkey, squirrels, and even a bear. Bedding and towels are provided at no extra fee.

Kyle Lake is managed under Big Bass Program regulations. Commonwealth Inland Waters regulations apply for all other species of fish. The Commission historically has stocked the lake with Walleye and Channel Catfish fingerling. Fish habitat structures have been placed in the lake (view PDF map) over the years as part of the Commission’s Fish Habitat Improvement Program.
