Slyhoff’s Grave

Embark on a guided tour of Slyhoff’s Grave, a mysterious site within Hide-A-Way’s property, where the legend of Richard unfolds. Shortly after his death, rumors painted Richard as a drunken and evil figure. Fearing the devil on Judgment Day, he requested an unconventional burial beneath a massive rock near his home, a wish fulfilled with a marked headstone. Years later, returning visitors were met with an eerie revelation as the rock had mysteriously shifted away, exposing Richard’s grave. To explore this enigmatic history, all visitors must sign in at the Hide-A-Way office, and a nominal fee of $2.00/person is charged for non-Hide-A-Way guests to support maintenance. Plan your tour by calling ahead and immerse yourself in the intriguing and supernatural narrative surrounding Slyhoff’s Grave.
