Dutch Hill Forest

Dutch Hill Forest supports diverse forest communities and varying terrain within the scenic Clarion River valley. The property consists of a gently sloping plateau dropping steeply east and north towards the river. Extensive thickets of rhododendron and mountain laurel are located along these slopes, as well as large boulders and interesting rock outcrops. A unique hemlock wetland forest close to the southern border forms the headwaters of two small streams.

Reynoldsville Pool was built in 1967. It is run by a small group of dedicated people in a committee known as the “Reynoldsville Recreation Commission”. The RRC is always looking for new members willing to donate a little of their time to keep our pool up and running.

Redbank Valley Trail

Redbank Valley Trail

Redbank Valley Trails is a 51-mile non-motorized trail maintained mainly by volunteers. It was recognized as PA’s first Trail of the Year for 2014 by DCNR due to its scenic beauty, connections to other trails, and volunteers’ dedication. It has a gentle slope with less than 1% grade, except for ramps at Middle Run Rd, and few road crossings. 41.5 miles of the trail have been improved from Allegheny River at mile 0 to Brookville at mile 42 and 9 miles on the Sligo Spur.

Wolf Run Trail

Wolf Run Trail

The Wolf Run Trail runs 4.2 miles beginning just north of Dubois, ending 3 miles south of Brockway onto State Route 219. Owned by Headwaters Charitable Trust and maintained by Washington Township, this trail is a major section of a proposed trail extending from the Clarion-Little Toby Brockway trailhead to the city of DuBois.
