SUMMARY:22nd Annual Cook Forest French & Indian War Encampment
DESCRIPTION:Cook Forest State Park will host a series of living history events depicting life during the French & Indian War. Highlights of this full two-day encampment include woodland natives\, cannon and musket firing\, cooking\, primitive skills\, blacksmithing\, tin smithing\, pottery\, children’s games\, sutler camp\, renown living historians\, French & Indian War Era artisans\, and live tactical engagements. Every battle different! Take a walk back in time along the Black Bear Trail by the Sawmill Center for the Arts during open camp hours to view British\, Colonial\, French and Native American re-enactors as they portray lifestyles of the 18th century.

DESCRIPTION:The Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center is excited to announce our Hot Dog Days Family Day on Saturday\, June 13\, from 11 AM–3 PM!\nBring the whole family and join us in the Weather Discovery Center parking lot for a fun-filled afternoon featuring:\n\n\n Carnival games\n Face painting\n Cotton candy\n Our famous hot dog cart with $4 hot dog meals (includes a hot dog\, chips\, and a drink)\n Free Smiley Cookie for the first 100 kids courtesy of Friends of the Weather Center\n…and more!\n\n\nSpecial guests will be stopping by throughout the day including…\n Andy the Armadillo and our friends from Texas Roadhouse will visit from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM with fun surprises!\n Grimace and our friends from McDonald’s will be visiting from 1 PM–2 PM!\n\n\nYou can also enjoy a hot dog meal plus admission to the Weather Discovery Center for just $11!\nCome spend the day with your family while supporting the educational mission of the Weather Discovery Center.
