Its restored Victorian Main Street exudes charm with a delightful array of shops, restaurants, and stunning architecture, nestled within a beautiful historical district. Just a stone’s throw away from downtown lies the northern trailhead of the Redbank Valley Trail, honored as Pennsylvania’s inaugural “Trail of the Year.” Delve into Brookville’s rich automotive history with a visit to the Jefferson County History Center, home to the iconic Twyford, the first-ever four-wheel drive vehicle. Immerse yourself in the region’s heritage at Scripture Rocks Heritage Park, boasting over 70 intricately engraved boulders dating back to the early 1900s. Additionally, visitors can savor the unique experience of sampling America’s only entirely handmade moonshine at Blackbird Distillery.

Brockway

In Brockway, adventurers can discover the serene beauty of the Clarion/Little Toby Trail, offering year-round hiking and biking experiences amidst the picturesque Little Toby Creek Valley. For water enthusiasts, Brockway provides convenient access points to Little Toby Creek and the scenic Clarion River via a canoe launch and the newly established Little Vineyard launch. Immerse yourself in the region’s rich heritage at the Taylor Memorial Museum, showcasing an extensive collection of locally crafted glassware. Don’t miss out on the cherished traditions of Brockway, including the beloved Old Fashioned Fourth of July picnic and fireworks spectacle at Taylor Memorial Park.
