Clarion River

This renowned waterway stretches across the Pennsylvania Great Outdoors region for 110 miles. Its protected status as a National Wild and Scenic River reflects its beauty, with intermittent riffles, rock outcrops, and a vibrant array of wildlife. The “Trestle Launch” at Little Toby Creek leads paddlers 4.5 miles downstream to Little Vineyard Launch, where it meets the Clarion River for further exploration. Anglers can enjoy fishing from its shores while nature photographers will delight in the picturesque scenery.

Sandy Lick Creek

Winding through Reynoldsville and joining North Fork Creek to form Redbank Creek, Sandy Lick Creek provides serene paddling adventures and ample fishing opportunities. Nature enthusiasts will find its quiet banks perfect for birdwatching and enjoying the lush landscape.

Formed where North Fork Creek merges with Sandy Lick Creek in Brookville, Redbank Creek spans 50 miles before joining the Allegheny River. Its many access points and natural beauty provide ample opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing, especially at Walter Dick Memorial Park.
